On July 4th, The College of Earth and Environmental Sciences successfully organized a speech contest with the theme of "Honesty, Thanksgiving, Motivational, Responsibility" on the Yuzhong campus. Witnessed by the teachers and students, the speaker gave a wonderful speech on the theme of "Honesty, Thanksgiving, Motivational, Responsibility" and combined with their own experience.

In the competition, the speakers were full of passion and fluent in speaking, interpreting their understanding of the theme with their full enthusiasm. They confided their gratitude and love to the motherland and the party and expressed their gratitude for the funding of country and school. The speaker told us some philosophy of life. For example, don’t define or label life; explain what is unbelieving and dare to fight with your own experience; prove that you are a qualified post-90s generation with practical actions; tell yourself “poor but become more determined, never lose my noble aspirations".

The students used real-life experiences, vivid examples, and full of true feelings to tell about their own growth under the tempering of life, and their gratitude for state funding and school education. After careful selection by the judges, Shi Wenqian won the first prize of this competition; Quan Dehong, Xu Rui, and Gao Lei won the second prize; Ning Lijin, Wang Xinyu, and Wang Erdong won the third prize.

Make students grateful to the motherland, help them realize their dreams, and encourage them to grow. It is believed that the ideals and beliefs of the players participating in the competition today will be stronger in the future. They are not only beneficiaries of the national education policy, but also a disseminator. Hope that they will be able to give back to society through their own efforts in the future, and pass on their gratitude and dedication after receiving assistance to a farther place.
