At the invitation of Prof. Nie Junsheng and Dr. Peng Fei from the College of Earth and Environmental Sciences of Lanzhou University and the Key Laboratory of the Western Ministry of Environmental Education, Professor He Hongming from the School of Geographical Sciences of East China Normal University will come to the school for exchange and give an academic report on April 20, 2023. Expert profile:

He Hongming is a professor at the School of Geographical Sciences, East China Normal University. He is mainly engaged in the research of global environmental change and land surface processes. He has served as the deputy editor, editorial board member, and invited editor-in-chief of several international academic journals (SCI), and is a member of the professional committees of several important international and domestic academic organizations. He has presided over and undertaken a number of scientific research projects, including the national key research plan project, the leading special project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Hundred Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the key special projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published more than 400 papers in professional academic journals and has been invited to attend international academic conferences and give keynote speeches. Relevant research results have been included in the "Handbook of Applied Hydrology" in the United States and "Hydrometeorology" in the United Kingdom and won the second prize in the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (2015). In 2011, he was selected into the Hundred Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Class A).
