Zhang Hua, chief, researcher and doctoral supervisor of the National Climate Center. In 2014, she was awarded the Science and Technology Leading Talent of the China Meteorological Administration. She is currently a member of the International Commission on Atmospheric Radiation; an expert of the Arctic Council Expert Working Group; chief scientist of the Collaborative Innovation Center for Meteorological Disaster Forecasting, Early Warning and Assessment, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology; standing editorial board member of "Acta Meteorological Sinica", editor of J.Meteo.Res.; doctoral supervisor of Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences and Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. She is the Chief Scientist of the National Key Research and Development Program "Global Change and Response" key special project. Mainly engaged in the research of atmospheric radiation, radiative forcing of greenhouse gases and aerosols, aerosol-radiation-cloud interaction and its climate effects, research and development of climate model physical processes, etc. She has published more than 160 papers and is the main author of Chapter 8 of the IPCC AR5 First Working Group Report.
