Expert Profile:
Peng Fei, a native of Xinyang, Henan Province, graduated from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) with B.S. and M.S. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Earth Sciences, Free University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in October 2020. During his Ph.D., he mainly worked on the relationship between Holocene European river flood processes and climate change, and published a total of 3 SCI papers in Global Planetary Change and Geomorphology. Since January 2021, he has been working as a postdoctoral fellow in the College of Earth and Environmental Sciences of Lanzhou University, conducting research on flooding and environmental evolution of the Yellow River. During this period, he has published one paper in Geophysical Research Letters and received one National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund and one Gansu Provincial Youth Science and Technology Fund.
