Academic Report of Prof. Du Peijun on January 14th

At the invitation of Professor Jie Yaowen from the College of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Lanzhou University, Professor Du Peijun from Nanjing University will come to our university to conduct an academic exchange and give an academic report on January 14, 2022. Title: Multi-temporal Remote Sensing Image Processing and Surface Change Analysis

Du Peijun, professor and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University. He was selected into the Talent Program of the Ministry of Education, and received the Young Mapping Geographic Information Science and Technology Innovation Talent Award of Chinese Society for Geodesy Photogrammetry and Cartography, the Young Teacher Award for Colleges and Universities of Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation, and the Young Geological Science and Technology Award of Geological Society of China. His research direction is urban remote sensing, intelligent processing and application of remote sensing data. He has presided over the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Outstanding Youth Foundation projects of Jiangsu Province and other research, and has published " Integration Methods and Applications of Remote Sensing Multi-Classifier" and "Urban Environment Remote Sensing Methods and Practices" such as books. Prof. Du has won 2 national outstanding teaching achievement awards and 8 provincial and ministerial scientific research awards. He has been selected as one of the 2020 Elsevier China Highly Cited Scholars in Geography, and one of the 2020 lifetime scientific impact and annual impact lists of the Top 2% of Global Scientists by Stanford University.
